Charities and voluntary organisations have a more important role in society, both nationally and globally, than ever before. Yet the financial challenges which face them mean that they have to be smarter than ever in telling their unique stories.

Brand Strategy Guru works with some of the world's best known charities as well as with smaller organisations determined to make their voices heard.

Anthony Nolan

Brand Strategy Guru led and delivered a major multi-faceted strategic brand project which examined every aspect of the leukaemia charity’s meaning: from its market awareness to the level of understanding and engagement amongst people of different ages, demographics and ethnic backgrounds. We also uncovered its greatest challenge: to reach out effectively to potential donors under 25 years old.

The result of the project was a comprehensive new brand strategy, covering everything from a new and memorable set of organisational values to a new shortened brand name, and the new positioning line: Be A Match, Save A Life as well as a dramatic new visual identity created by Johnson Banks, with whom Brand Strategy Guru worked in partnership.

The Earth Trust

The Earth Trust

The Oxfordshire-based charity formerly known as the Northmoor Trust has re-launched as The Earth Trust in a bold re-branding move led by Brand Strategy Guru. Changing the name was a big decision for the organisation, whose work is all about persuading people to live greener lifestyles. The Earth Trust, is a much better reflection of who and what the organisation represents.

The Earth Trust has more than 1,200 acres of stunning countryside in its care, including the iconic Wittenham Clumps, wildlife-rich meadows and over two miles of the River Thames. Caring for these special places remains a priority, but the Trust’s re-branding also marks the launch of plans to restore wildlife to a mile of the Thames, open a new visitor centre at Radley lakes and much more.

Voluntary Norfolk

Voluntary Norfolk

Renaming and rebranding of Norwich and Norfolk Voluntary Services as Voluntary Norfolk, giving the organisation a dynamic, positive and powerful stance as the lead support organisation for the voluntary sector in the east of England.
