Recently Simon has been filming Seaside's Last Resort with Duncan Bannatyne, which will be transmitted on Virgin 1 in Spring 2010. Simon's book Build A Brand In 30 Days is published in April 2010 by Capstone Wiley. A regular media commentator on all things 'brand’ for the BBC, Sky News and Five News among others, Simon is also scripting and presenting a unique new six-part TV series The Brand Effect . Further business and brand-related TV projects are in the planning stages.
Simon's expertise and outstanding reputation stem from a varied career. He is a qualified primary school teacher, a Registered Nurse for people with learning disabilities, and a former senior manager in the NHS.
He has also been Creative Director of a leading advertising agency, a business journalist and an entrepreneur, launching two successful marketing agencies.
Simon is a respected leader in the brand field. He is a Business Fellow of the University of East Anglia, and a member of the team creating UEA's unique new MSc in Brand Leadership. He is also a Chartered Institute of Marketing Marketer of The Year.
He continues to teach master classes to MBA students at UEA and post-graduates at the prestigious Norwich University College of The Arts.
Simon is also an expert in creative-thinking and innovation in business and runs popular workshops on creativity all over the UK.
When he's not working Simon’s natural gifts as a performer are expressed as front-man of an acoustic-Americana band The Proposition, with a rapidly growing reputation on the roots circuit.
